Today's my birthday, so I'm counting this as a present from the team; it's the first win on my birthday by the Celtics in NBA history! ;D

Have a Happy Birthday TP!!!

Smart was the player of the second half but TIMELORD was the player of the first! GREAT TEAM WIN!

Tatum also carried us through the majority of the game, and Walker hit the big shots when we needed them. Jaylen also played great defense tonight.

It's way harder to beat a team than a couple of good players and These Celtics are a TEAM!

And a team stacked with good players at that. Ainge and Stevens have done a great job with this roster.

Is this a potential return of the Craptors? ;D

If VanVleet walks this summer, they are going to fade. They have him on a bargain deal right now. Also Gasol and Ibaka are getting up there. Lowry too.

They have a lot of money to spend - almost $50M expiring from Gasol and Ibaka alone. If they want VanVleet, they can have him (based on what we've seen this series  ;) )

But, yeah, outside of Siakam and Anunoby the superstar, they don't have a whole lot else going on. Not sure paying VanVleet $25M+/yr is the best use of a team's resources, but Toronto isn't exactly the hottest FA destination.

I'm glad they got the banner last year. But, the fact that they lost Leonard is really pretty sad.   Toronto finally builds a team and then lose their superstar to Los Angeles.  Glad it wasn't to the Lakers.  Toronto would have been (should have been) a perennial threat.  Now they'll likely waste away.

Robert Williams helped us win this. 11 pts is nothing to Scoff at. He’s contributing nicely and for a 26th pick or whatever he was, you let’s just say we got a heck of a steal.

Celtics are 6-0. Amazing!
If I recall correctly us and Miami are the only two remaining undefeated playoff teams! We have the edge having won 6 vs 5, but man it tastes good.

Seeing all these fools on social media talking about how we only won because Simmons was out (without Hayward), and how Toronto was going to sweep us, it tastes even better!
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

Ya I would save your pity. The team is really good as is, will likely have significant cap space that they will be saving for the big summer of 21', has excellent building blocks in Siakam, FVF and OG, and really just needs a number one option for all their roles to fall into place.

Plus lets not bury them just yet, they were down 0-2 last year t MIL and came back.

Raptors don't have any answers yet for this Celtics team.

They are about 27% from three in these two games.

I think Walker and smart combined for what...26 points in the 4th? Yikes!
