5) No Kanter. Brad prob doesn't see him being effective in this particular matchups.
6) Rob was very, very solid.
The way the league is getting smaller, it seems to me that Kanter is practically unplayable against most teams. If I were Danny, I'd dump him in the offseason for cap relief + whatever future pick(s) we can get. I'd rather have a guy like Noel (UFA) in case Timelord gets injured once again.
I kind of agree about Kanter. But:
- his contract, if he were to pick his option, is reasonable;
- and it's really hard to find somebody useful for that money, especially if the salary cap will shrink this offseason;
- he also adds some specific skills in the mix of our big men rotation.
Noel is interesting, but it's not like he proved a whole lot this year, although I can easily imagine him being a great fit under Brad. That said, at this point I can imagine literally every potential 5 thriving in BS system (the way he tranformed our game after Horford's departure). The likes of Okafor, Len and Baynes. C's getting Aron back would be great)
