Toronto's bench put up 100 points yesterday. Granted it was a bad Nets team, but still...  :o

Like our bench probably puts up only 10% of that usually

Felt optimistic after the Celtics played the Raptors in the seeding game. Then pessimistic after losing Hayward. Now I don't know because Lowry's injury could change all of that again. Without Lowry, or if he is hobbled, I'd favor the Celtics again.

Celts just need to keep playing with confidence and poise, because you know Toronto is going to bring it.  Kemba upping his scoring output was huge vs Philly.

I'll be a homer and call for Celts in 6.
Yup

Celtics in 6

Hope our leaders can afford big playing time, as we can only integrate softy our subs (two and rarely three at the same time). Toronto can use more otions from the bench and more adaptation possibilities for Nurse. Intrigate also with the coach fight, the adjustments. One more time I am a little mefiant...

But I really think our "big" 4 will shine so much that we will overcome them... And in game 6, a little game winner by Tatum ? They don't have Kawhi anymore afterall

C's in Six although less confident w/o GH.  Going to be a lot of minutes by the starters.

I'll go with Celtics in 6 but it's going to be a very tight series.  I'm feeling very confident in Tatum, Kemba, and Brown to get buckets in crunch time.  Marcus will also be a difference maker with his usual clutch plays in the final minutes.

Celtics in 5.

In the playoffs, the teams with the best player usually wins as long as he is not alone out there.

With the Celtics, you could argue they have the three best players.

As a Raptors fan this series has loooooooong been over due Boston and Toronto always finished on opposite brackets but not this year finally...

Not surprised everyone here thinks Celtics will win it is a Celtics Forum but common Celtics in 4 or 5? be realistic people some epic choking or injuries would have to happen for that to become a reality.

This is a toss up series and I expect 7 hard fought games maybe 1 blow out for each team but from top to bottom these teams are pretty even and match up well with each other

Can't wait for Thursday if Toronto does lose I really hope Celtics make the Finals... I can't stand the Bucks and Mike Budonhozer I want Giannis to leave....

Next year the Atlantic division is gonna be a nightmare... Boston, Toronto, Brooklyn, Philly... all prolly 45+ teams assuming Philly doesn't have a fire sale lol.

I’m picking the Celtics in 7, really just because I’m a Celtics fan.  I really think it’s a toss up.

I also agree that there’s a lot of folks underrating Toronto’s talent and team defense.  We’re really gonna have to play mistake free ball.  What’s funny is if someone told me that this series was over in 4 or 5, I’d probably say it was the raptors that won, but if you say someone won in 6 or 7 I’d probably say it was us

Do you want Giannis to leave because you think he'll join the Raptors?  Or you just don't like Milwaukee?

I'd be scared of Giannis leaving and forming a new superteam somewhere else, making a path to a championship for everyone else that much harder.  I think the best thing for 29 other teams in the league is for Giannis to stay in Milwaukee.

But obviously if you think he'd be leaving Milwaukee for Toronto, I'd understand where you're coming from.

I expect Robert Williams III to have an important role in this series. He played very well vs. Raptors in bubble game.  He  looked solid against Serge Ibaka.  Really felt his presence.

Scrubbing the internet for news on Lowry’s MRI results.
I trust I’ll see a post on the blog as soon as news drops.

i vote for boston in 7. it will be a tough, tough series for both teams as both have talent and are well coached. toronto is no push over with obvious fatal flaws, unlike the sixers.

if hayward were back, it would be boston in 6.

but what???? no poll??? this sort of thread screams for a poll.
