That really sucked.  He was huge for the stupid Lakers tonight.

Anyone else surprised that Miami was able to score so much on defensive juggernauts Brook Lopez and Drew Bledsoe?  ::)

It's absurd that these two made all-NBA defensive teams this season.

Sigh, still think the Rockets can turn this around? Really wanna believe but...they're getting bullied by their two superstars and getting a taste of Playoff Rondo.

Yes you'd have thought that such awesome two way players would have been able to protect the rim and the perimeter from the likes of Kelly Olynyk

That said, Adebayo is the guy I worry about with the Heat. He's a beast. But they're like us in a way, they don't rely on any one or two players. They have good shooters all the way down their team. And a good coach in Spoelstra. He's got them all singing from the same hymn sheet

Apparently Miami busting out an extra All-Starish calibre guy to their already strong squad (8th in SRS with a rating of 2.59 that was deflated by their poor bubble performance before the playoffs) with the resurgence of Dragic and having the perfect offensive system to counter Milwaukee's drop scheme (high volume + quality three point shooting team with lots of off-ball movement) makes Milwaukee's defenders unworthy of their All-Defensive selections - the hot takes in this year's playoffs are gold

It makes me sick Rondo ever wore Celtics green. I can not stand that guy!! He makes Ray Allen seem likable in my book lol.

They were awesome in the regular season. It kinda' goes to show how Bud has the regular season figured out for maximizing his players, but when the playoffs roll around, he has no idea what he is doing.

Indeed. It's becoming far too much of a recurrence for it to be shrugged off anymore

Agreed, but Bledsoe was contender for the selection. This surge of "hurr Lopez and Bledsoe are overrated defensively" reeks of winning bias, both were excellent in the regular season and weren't poor in the playoffs - if you're sceptical about their defence in the playoffs this season, both held strong against a strong Boston offence and the eventual champions last playoffs.

That's on Budenholzer's inability to adapt come playoff time and not the quality of his players though.

Well, regardless of whatever transpired in the playoffs, Lopez was unworthy of the award.

That someone as mediocre on defense as Lopez can be voted as 2nd team All-Defense on the strength of his team's overall defensive prowess is just so pathetic. The voters should be ashamed they aren't capable of anything more than superficial analysis. Lopez is replacement level on that end of the court, he is not elite or even above average.

This is basically the equivalent of Ray Allen being voted as All-Defense on the back of Garnett's otherworldly abilities. Giannis apparently is so good he can make a sieve look like a brick wall.

Watching the Western Conference games, I have to say, if Boston makes the Finals, I love their chances to win it all. No one out there plays defense and Boston's elite defense should be able to shut down the offenses I have seen. The C's also went .500 against the supposedly elite LA teams and I think Boston is playing much better now than they were at the time of facing those teams during the regular season.

Of course, if Lebron can just yell at a ref and get him to change his call, well, that may be problematic. That change of call on the out of bounds play where Lebron fouled the Houston player and then it went off his head out of bounds was ridiculous. Yes, it did go out of bounds off the Houston player but my word, Lebron hacked the crap out of that guy and no foul was called.

That ref crew last night was just awful. They got bullied by Lebron all night and missed several offensive foul calls against the Lakers.
