With the 7th pick, the LA Clippers bring back a favourite son who was ahead of his time.

We select:

Lamar Odom
Very strong pick, I was looking at him as one of my potential selections the next round.
I love what he brings tbh. Just a fun player who had some really good seasons

Does the Kardashian curse apply retroactively?

He’s definitely got the hook up for the best team parties.

I couldn't only have a team of nice guys! Need to balance the Grant Hill-ness of the team

All excellent picks thus far but there is one player I thought should have gone early this round that had a season that is better than most everyone's this round.

If it’s the guy we talked about, Yoki should take him.  I worried people would hyper-focus on his weaknesses rather than strengths.
Is it a very gifted, problem child center?

Yeah, his qualities scale well too (except for his sketchy shooting).
No doubt, his shooting was super erratic. Huge % jumps season to season, but I'll be adding some shooting help later ;)
I'll be stealing all of those shooters away from you ;), I think I'm the only guy who hasn't selected an average or worse shooter yet

I know who you're referring to, but funnily enough I think there's two guys this applies to :P

I think his in-game tendencies scared off some guys in this draft (he definitely did that to me lol).

Oh yeah he wasn't remarkably good (although he had a season where he shot 36.7% on over 4 attempts per game).

I'm going to reach here because I like the guy a lot.  He can defend, he can attack the basket, he can shoot the spot up 3, he can get out in transition.  He's fierce, unselfish, and can thrive as a supporting player.  He brings another dimension to my wings rotation.  Heck, he might even start for me by the time this is all over.

With pick 7(11) the Utah Jazz select

I thought he would've been available in the 9th and 10th rounds :-\. Solid pick.

I'm sorry again for picking ahead.

But it seems like I get to keep him after all. So to make it official. For our 7th round pick, the Oklahoma City Thunder selects Jermaine O'neal.

Glad to see him go..

Would've had a strong case for All-Star this season if it weren't for the injuries.

Love me some Jaylen.
