Tatum struggles to find a way of being effective, when he's not feeling it.

Win or lose I am glad I am never seeing this team play again. Just poor garbage entertainment.

Houston earned this one. They outplayed and out hustled us.

The Celtics had bad possession after bad possession on offense, and could not secure a defensive board if their life depended on it.

Growing pains for JT and JB. They had their chances but simply missed. Experiences like this should make them better players down the road. On to the next guys!

This is a bad loss. Should have won this.

yeah ....this was not good for confidence

just not ready for prime time ....people got to step up .  letting this team without a center beat us twice is unacceptable.....i d ring CBS skinny little neck
I don't know about that. They hung in and kept fighting when they went ice cold and managed to get it to OT.  Give them Kemba and less minutes for the bench guys - who contributed a whopping 2 points to the offense - they'll be fine.

But it's still on Danny for not bringing in someone for the back end of the rotation who can help offensively.  This is the type of game where Wanamaker is useless.

Tatum struggles to find a way of being effective, when he's not feeling it.

I think he gets frustrated by lack of calls on his drives, which he had to focus on since his three ball isnt working.

PJ Tucker played like a boss tonight...dude was physical and simply out-hustled us for rebounds.
It's easy to look like that when Brown and Hayward play like betas.

Brown was the one who EXTENDED our game tonight. He gets little blame from me.

If anything, Westbrook punked BOS and PJ out-muscled us.

Lot went on tonight. I agree Westbrook and tucker were key. Houston made the game extremely physical and we did not match them. But it was still a really close game. One bucket goes in and we all look at the game differently. Smart’s layup rolling out was a killer.

Hayward gotta make that

Hayward really needed that.  Would also have been great to see Jaylen hit the fallaway.  He was short a lot tonight.

Absolutely infuriating. When does Brad get held accountable for these God-awful end-game decisions? How many games has he given up due to this putrid philosophy of refusing to call a timeout in these situations??

I'm guessing he doesn't, because it's about one millionth of the issue that you make it out to be. Emphasised by the fact you then assume we will automatically win when he takes the time outs that you want. False logic, and almost a total non issue.

Houston played tougher in the 2nd half and that was the difference. PJ Tucker is really good.

When they were up 1, they had like 3 chances to extend the lead and couldn't do it. As much as they struggled, the game was still there for the taking.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
no, Hubie, I will not give Houston credit. They are a joke. We (and Houston's referee friends) gave the game away.

They've beat us like 5 or 6 time in a row. It's time to give them credit.
Think D'Antoni and his 8v5 strategy have Brad's number

Smart: 9 of 22
Tatum: 9 of 27
Theis: 3 of 8
Brown: 9 of 23
Bench:

It's time to stop blaming the refs.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Let's not forget, it took a huge effort by Houston to barely survive against a Celtics team missing their all-star point guard.
