Awesome news! Very well deserved. KG changed the reputation of the modern day Celtics forever. The franchise became a top attraction again.

Would rather just see 'KG' than #5, but I can't complain too much. He was my fave non-Celtic before we acquired him and he was everything we could have hoped for while he was here. Congrats, KG!

Excellent news! Top 10 player of all time imo, he deserves his name up in the rafters even though he was out of his prime for most of his seasons here, his final MVP-esque year in '08 won us banner 17 :)

He did change the culture of the Celtics not Rivers not Pierce but KG. But did he not play longer in Minnesota than in Boston?
