Nope

Coming from "Rondo fan"  :P

Rondo sucks now, my username is from Feb 2008

IT offense is not close to what it was IMO, to offset Def

Lol I was joking when I said that

I know lol

Still Much rather have Wanamaker, or even Evan Turner if he indeed gets his buyout.

Poor guy, not sure who will take a chance on him.

His time is over at the NBA level imo

Probably signs on with a team in China next season is my guess

IT turned into a bit of a locker room headache in a couple places after leaving here. I don't think he would be a good addition given he isn't close to what he once was but seems to still think he is. I am not sure he would be able to supplant Wanamaker on the depth chart and could be a locker room distraction.

So, it's a no from me.

I do want to give the OP a TP though. We always need to continue the Celticsblog/CelticsStrong tradition of the "Bring Back _________(fill in blank with ex-Celtic) Thread". We just can't have a season without one.

For the record, I’d still gladly sign Antoine, the Captain, KG, and Perk, just to sit at the end of the bench.

I would love Posey and House for the end of the bench.  Who's House?

Nick that was definitely true on the Cavs and probably the Lakers also, but there were pretty glowing reports of his time in Denver.

He also seemed to be doing well in Washington in this regard and recently went to bad for his teammate to make all-star game

I think he was really humbled by having to accept that contract from Denver and is very different than the guy he was in Cleveland (and to be fair there were like 8 other issues with that team including guys like Wade and Hood.

Denver raved about his locker room presence last year, and I hadn’t heard anything negative here in DC this season, other than his not-good outburst at that fan.

It didn’t go well for him in Cleveland and LA, but that was probably the worst year of his life (sister dying, getting traded out of nowhere, and being hurt), so there were probably some other factors at play.

I wouldn't mind having him on the team- I like him and don't think he'd be a problem.  I don't really think he's good enough to play any minutes on a good team at this point though.  I do think he's better than Edwards, but Wannamaker is better and I think Waters is better.  Waters can't play in the playoffs though, correct?

Correct, Waters is not playoff eligible (unless we release someone and convert his contract).  That said, I don’t think Waters is better at what we would want IT to do.

Loved him, but he's a below-average shooter now and his defense has become even worse.

He’s shooting over 40% from 3PT.

The real area where his game has declined is getting to the line.

Whether he comes back here or not I wouldn't count him out.

Dude has ALWAYS proved others wrong when his back was against the wall.....he brought us PLENTY of great memories while in BOS.

Isaiah Thomas WAS Boston....still IS, to me. He embodied what it meant to be a Celtic.
