Marcus Morris and the Knicks have everyone's attention, but the Pistons have also received calls from multiple contenders for his brother, Markieff Morris. The Lakers, Clippers, Bucks, Sixers, and Celtics are among those teams interested in Markieff Morris, per league sources.

I like that idea. he'd fit in great.

Bjelica is better than Markieff Morris in basically everything (shooting, passing, rebounding, defense). Not interested in going after another Morris brother.

I’m gonna be bummed if the C’s don’t at least get a bench scorer on this team.

Really don't get why people insist that we need a scorer off the bench. I mean, we have more than enough firepower in Kemba-Brown-Hayward-Tatum-Kanter (+Edwards). At least one of those guys is always on the court. If anything, we need a shooter, not a scorer.

Imo, we also need to upgrade the C position, but that's a whole nother story.

Or......

Stevens can continue to have a couple of scorers on the floor, like he's been doing, so he can just have that 3+D guy be Tatum, Brown or Hayward. Seems to have worked out pretty good so far.

One of our starters + Kanter = plenty of firepower against opposing second units.

Meh, I love our D when Semi and Grant are playing together. I'd much rather have a 3+D shooting guard over Markieff Morris.

Pretty sure Markieff is an inch taller than Marcus.  Basically, among other things he could be our insurance if Theis or Kanter is banged up/out of action.  I mean, our small ball Celtics could use him at center.

I’m hearing Alec Burks has been pulled out of the Warriors lineup tonight and a trade is imminent before the deadline.

There's a good chance that we're the team behind this. Here's a quote from Bulpett's last article:

If the Celtics make a move at all, the guess around the league is that it will be to add a veteran who can provide some offense off the bench. But even in this case, fit is important. (...) Perhaps Alec Burks could be had for not much, but could Golden State get more elsewhere?

To be honest, if we are trading with the Warriors I'd rather have Robinson, but I'd be OK with Burks as well.

Pat Riley clearly sees an opportunity to make a run with these Heat: Riley has been working to trade for Memphis’ Andre Iguodala AND Oklahoma City’s Danilo Gallinari, league sources tell ESPN. Talks are ongoing.

Gallo ain't half bad. Him and Bam would form an interesting PF-C pairing for the Heat.

Of course we could, but they do pretty much the same job on the court. No need to trade for both, imo.

The Warriors are asking for picks. Hopefully, our Nets 2020 second would be enough. They'd be also saving money (with regards to the luxury tax).

Minus 25 wins for them! Chances are that they won't get that many wins throughout the whole season!

Memphis has agreed to a deal to send Andre Iguodala to Miami, league source tells ESPN. Iguodala agreed to trade and has agreed to a two-year, $30M extension with Miami.
