it’s ironic because Frye never lived up to his potential

He was like a really poor mans lamar Odom at his peak

Channing Frye knows all about failing to live up to potential. However it’s a bit of a foreign concept for stud wings in Boston
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

He is probably right.
It’s the new NBA. Even more so with the Celtics.

I'd be curious as to why he believes that.  What specifically is his reasoning.  Without the reasoning it is just nonsense, but maybe he can support it.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal
Wings -  Lebron James

i assume his reasoning is the Pierce trade and he has a point. (see nowitzki/Bryant/Manu/Duncan)

his quote was about reaching full potential, not staying with the team their entire career.  Those are very different things.

Jayson a 21 year old all star with two playoff runs and Jaylen in playoffs every year since he arrived.
Two way players are few and far between ask Pop .
These two have the work ethic to get better every year.
