It’s not hate, at least from my end.

I’ll admit I didn’t watch him in college and maybe this wasn’t his best game.  But I just don’t see what the hype is about, maybe if he was about 6” taller.

Even outside of all that, I don’t think his body is gonna hold up over time

Pretty much this.

+1 ....he ll blow out his knees or ankles, hips , landing 270 pounds that far off the ground over and over .  Being shorter , he is going to have to stay airborne to much i think .  He ll have to learn to play like Barkley ..who had bad back issues for years

Look at Blake Griffin now
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Zion hate is weird.  Dude just played in his 3rd game ever coming off of a major injury and only scored 21 points on 9 of 16 shooting, and if that wasn't bad enough he only grabbed 11 rebounds, 7 of them on the offensive end.

He is shooting a paltry 67% in his 3 games.  What a bust.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I reckon it’s jealousy

All I'll say is that - between Luka, Zion, The Young Jays, Greek Freak and a few other young studs the NBA has a BRIGHT future.

Wanamaker is not very good.

Ojeleye is not really that good.

Neither is Grant Williams. Dude looked out of it today.

i know his salary is beyond what we can manage but geez louise having a guy that was 70% the shooter that reddick is coming off our bench would make a gigantic difference.

This is one of Boston's major weaknesses—they have no one they can count on to be a legit, consistent deep threat. Redick has a bad game once in a blue moon, and that's it; most of the time, he's locked in. Boston needs someone like him.

Of course, it won't really matter whom they have or don't have if they can't avoid a new injury every other game. At this rate we'll have Sex Pants playing 40 minutes a game before long.

Care to guess which two of those players don't get superstar calls?

I hate to beat this old horse, because I really do appreciate Marcus Smart... but there's not a single player in the NBA playing as many minutes and shooting under 40%. Having another option that's a full-on threat in the same situations is super valuable, even if Marcus is an All-World defender. It's a shooter's league, and when the other team is hitting it's easier to answer with 3s than pesky defense.

Yup, and this team has shooting funks too frequently to keep up with the best teams.

We need someone like a Gerald Green/Leandro Barbosa type. Good locker guys who can get hot and win you games that way.

I'll counter with:

C - Embiid
F - Siakam   (or should I go with KAT?)
F - Ingram
G - Simmons
G - Trae
