One of the best wins of the season.
No question.

Good focus by the C's, everyone knew what they needed to do.

Great win, but I think this game showed me that Poirier might never be an NBA player. He's so lethargic, and has hands like frying pans.
I never thought he was NBA level talent. He certainly didn't look it tonight but luckily we were able to overcome the truly horrendous 10 minutes he put in tonight.

I have better hands than Poirier has.

"Trade Hayward for Drummond or Adams"

Hayward puts up 22/14/5 tonight when 3 of our best players are all out

I can buy that.  But this game adds credibility to Javonte and Grant.

Extra props to Hayward for pulling in 14 rebounds on a night when our three best rebounders were out.  Somebody needed to do the work and he stepped up.

Kemba & Hayward were really good tonight. Kemba as a scorer, Hayward as a secondary scorer, while rebounding and passing.

Smart had great defensive plays and passes, Theis was huge in the last quarter, Semi & Green had a few good plays, as did Grant. Solid all round performance considering how short handed we were.

agree with people here that think Hayward needs to initiate more of the offense.

I have loved what both have given the team this year. Both guys are older rooks and they play like it. They play smarter than regular rookies.

I think Grant has a long career in front of him as a three point shooting, great passing, tough versatile defending role player. Love what he is showing this early in his career

On a team like the Celtics, having a guy like Hayward who doesnt mind stepping back to give others an opportunity but can score when needed is so valuable. Its not like he is useless when not scoring, he is a good passer and rebounder as well.

he was bad out there tonight.  really bad.  couldn't rebound to save his life.  constantly out of position.  slow to the ball.  hands apparently coated in butter since he couldn't hold onto the ball or grab it.
