Against athletic teams like this, Theis really makes a big difference on D.

AD + Lebron have 30 of their 48 points. The great Kuzma has 0 in like 14 minutes

Memphis coach looks like WWE Kane.

Interesting aside, Kane (Glen Jacobs) is the mayor of the biggest county in my neck of the woods, Knox County, TN.

good bounce back in the second quarter after that slow start.  hope to see Smart and Kemba get it going in the second half

Once we cranked up the defensive intensity Memphis had no answer and we got some easy transition buckets which then gave players confidence. A confident team makes things happen
as we have seen when other teams have gotten off to good starts against us lately.  good to see the tables turned in our favor in that regard

Tatum's efficiency just keeps getting better and better. He is finishing at the rim at a high rate. He has limited his bad, head down drives to very little or none each game. His three has been dropping around 37-38% for close to two months now. And he is money at the line.

His splits over the last 24 games: 45.6/37.8/85.7. Not going to do math but that looks like a TS% around 57-58%

Our defensive activity and hands have been insane tonight. They've got 11 turnovers, and it seems like we've actively forced them all.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.
