This may be irrational, but I think they can make a game out of this. The Bucks van't possibly shoot that well from three for another half, right? Law of averages has to start kicking in.

that’s what i thought last night but detroit maintained their >60% shooting last night. so, yeah it’s possible.

Five assists on 20 made baskets. Putrid.

This isn't a conclusion I reached recently, and even though I'm a firm proponent of starting your 5 best guys, I really would have no problem bringing Hayward off the bench once Brown is back.
For Smart? Yuck.
For even Semi - who I don't think will be in the NBA for much longer but who started in Gordon's place when he was injured and the team was fine. Hayward is a good player, but the starting lineup doesn't need his night to night timidity when there's an expectation he'll do more. I'd rather a guy who is clearly a role player every night and not one who thinks he is every three or four.

Just check we don’t have anyone in the top 35 for 3 point %.
But we sure shoot them like we do.

A lot of these threes are wide open for a reason. No layups is the goal against the C's.

Semi could actually be interesting. Doesn’t really do much on offence besides shoot a corner 3, which would allow a good pecking order.

I would have big concerns about our passing without Hayward starting.

I’ll take ray Allan back if he’s is willing

At this point I'd take Allan Ray.

I think other teams may realize we are a bad shooting 3 team and letting us have it !

only good thing said at halftime:

Barkley: you don't hear Draymond talking much with him averaging that triple single

Here's the thing.

If Donte DiVincenzo is draining from 28 feet or canning a between-the-legs pullup three in your face, you're going to lose.  Period.  There's nothing your defense can do about it, because your defense is far more interested in pretty much everybody else on the Bucks' roster.  Kid shoots 32% from three.  We don't mind those shots.

Any defense is going to give up something.  And I generally think we aren't closing out hard enough tonight, but some of these are shots that the defense doesn't mind and the Bucks are hitting anyway.  And if that happens, then you tip your cap and take the L.

The far more frustrating thing to me is that we don't seem to force teams into these lesser-of-two-evils defensive decisions.  Everything seems to be difficult for us except maybe Smart's shots, and I feel like that's an indicator that we aren't getting enough out of our talent on offense.  The only reason we aren't down 30+ is Kemba hitting several difficult shots in the second quarter.
