We are watching a very tired basketball team - physically and mentally. Mental fatigue impacts the teams' ability to stay focused on playing the right way and executing. Seems the heavy schedule of late has taken our legs.

Big problem with our Celtics is our real horsepower, Tatum and Brown, are terribly inconsistent. You have no idea what you are going to get game to game. Walker is generally reliable and Hayward, who is our playmaker, I think is playing hurt. You wonder if he is ever going to fully recover from the residuals of the horrible leg injury. Add in the fact that we are basically weak inside and you have a team that lacks real, game to game, consistent firepower and by that, I mean all aspects of the game, offense, defense, rebounding and shooting.

The Bucks are a little bit of a mystery to me. I get that they have the Antelope, who is a top 5 player every nite out. But their supporting cast, while very solid, just doesn't strike me as the best group in the league. They don't overwhelm you, except for their record and they have cruised through a heavy schedule of games with ease. I suspect they may turn out to be vulnerable come playoff time.

The other really big question is, why do we continue to wear these gawd-awful "City Edition" uniforms ?????
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

I don’t mind Hayward missing as much as I mind him not shooting or getting involved. Touch the ball, drive and kick or something.

Hayward has crossed me.

Only reason I’m disappointed in him is because I know how good he can be for this team. I think he’s really the key to how far we can advance in the playoffs.

If you’re shouting bad find other ways to get involved, set up some plays or something.

  • GOT IT!!!
I'm not worried about the defense, that can be fixed with more effort. Bricking shots in the playoffs on the other hand has been the C's kryptonite.

love it --> Webber says nothing about C's getting fouled on shots but jumps to say Bucks getting fouled.

Bucks seem to have cooled off but we need to start hitting buckets -- other than Kemba that is.  Hayward and Tatum are stinking up the joint.

down to 11 now.  imagine where we'd be if Kemba was getting any support

  • It's not hard to work hard.
team has a lot of flaws but they're showing character rn
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

God I hate Giannis. He just bulldozers in like a wild gazelle and trips himself on defenders and gets the call every time. Honestly would be worth Smart getting kicked out if I got to see him punch him in his dumbass grinning face.

down to 11 with the Theis dunk.

Bucks with a really low energy start to the 3rd.  Keep pushing C's.

Exactly. We need to do more than break even with them. We gotta get some points.

Yeah he just tries not to mess up when his shot isn't falling. Which is the exact opposite version of Hayward we need.

We're making a comeback though--so let's keep going Celtics!
