I'm not a fan of the "Let's stick our head up our asses" strategy the Celtics have seemed to deploy over these last several games.

What do you guys think?

Recently slump is actually really simple:  Tatum has slumped and Kemba has not played.  If those two play well this team will be just fine.

Danny, I would suggest remembering games like this before you decide whether to pay Tatum or move him.

I don’t understand why a team with this much offensive talent just shuts down like this.  It should be near-impossible to hold them under 100.  It just doesn’t seem like they make the game any easier for each other.

Agreed, TP!

Celtics looked tased in the second half

Brown, Tatum and Hayward certainly did.
Those guys need to realize that Kemba can't do it all himself.

When you see certain players smiling after a crap effort like this, you get the feeling that it matters a lot more to us than to them.

No, they're just more rational.

Brown, Tatum, and this recent (soft, ineffective) version of Hayward all are essentially worthless when their shots aren't falling.

None of them had their shots falling tonight, so we got crushed at the end of this game.

Too much 1 on 1 basketball

Then you have trigger happy Smart(though good tonight)

Kemba has not been careful (stripped) or good with less than 3 mins

Terrible loss. Terrible effort. Terrible execution.

I know the injuries/sickness have taken a toll, as well as this terribly unbalanced schedule. But they don't even look like a team out there at times.

Gordon is going to have to get his head out of his bum again. We need his secondary playmaking out there. Otherwise, we need to go back to starting Smart to get that secondary playmaker, and let Hayward do his thing off the bench.

And since Brown and Tatum really are only scorers at this point, they can't be having these lackluster efforts.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Why do we always play the Sixers on the second half of a back to back?

When I hear all the acclaim for Trey Young, with the sparkling year he's having, and with this being only his second year, I have to wonder are we sure Tatum and Brown are really as good as we think they are. We know Hayward will never be the same, we're not going to see Jazz Hayward again.

Last year we pointed the finger at Kyrie, this year who do we point the finger at?

NBA: Hey Celtics why dont you play the best coached team in the league, and hop on a bus to play Philly within 24 hours.
