Enes has a player option for next season that calls for a 5% raise (total new salary $5,005,350).  If he continues to play as he has of late, I am assuming his value on the open market will greatly exceed 5 million.

This is my question:  If he opts out, I assume he immediately becomes an UFA and the most the C's could offer would be (assuming C's are under the apron) is the full MLE estimated to be around 9.5 million next summer.

Do I have this right?

Similar question for Wannamaker:  I believe Brad will be a RFA next summer, so as long as C's extend a qualifying offer, they can match any offer no matter how high that offer may be. Right?

Kanter took less to play for Cs already, he'll likely do it again if we at least get close to a chip, say tight semi-finals or finals loss. One of the reasons he signed was fire a bigger platform for his activism.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Regarding Wanamaker, his new contract would be subject to the Arenas provision, which would limit what other teams could offer him (to a point), allowing us to potentially match with our Early Bird rights.  It’s unlikely he’d get an offer so high that we couldn’t match — however, I expect us to wish him well and move forward with Tremont Waters.

I don’t think Wanamaker gets another offer, same way Larking didn’t .
(Btw larking is having an amazing year in Europe )
Celts may want to give his minutes to Tremont next year.

Getting back to the OP (me)....is it true we can only offer Enes the full MLE if we are above the cap?
