Gotta believe Jaylen will be first choice replacement for All-Star Game for whoever gets injured.

I think it would either be Beal or LaVine (since it’s in Chicago).  The league usually tries to make sure as many teams as possible are represented, so doubt the Celtics get three

I think Beal not making it is laughable. It’s a joke. I know they’re not winning but he’s a monster this year. Other players are just playing on better teams. Beal is awesome.

Yeah I think so too. I know they arent winning much, but its different coz you know Beal can influence winning as well. He's done it before, been an all-star.

He's been playing great. I wish Tatum would defer to Brown when he isn't shooting well.

IMO, part of that is on Jaylen. He gets stuck into a passive mode sometimes, whereas Jayson never does.
I am sorry but I have not seen a passive Brown all year. There were games his coach inexplicably stood him in a corner and didn't get him involved. There have been times where they simply ran the offense through others. But I have seen no passivity from Jaylen this year.
Jaylen was put in the corner because he was passive. Do you think Brad has a vendetta against Jaylen or something? No one else has this supposed problem on this team except Jaylen.
Jaylen in the corner is a scheme. Every top level player on this team has been put in those corners and forgotten this year. Every player has had games where the team didn't go to them because it went through others. That is pretty easy to see.
Then why do people on this forum act as if Jaylen is the lone outcast that gets suppressed by big bad Brad, when everyone gets the same treatment?
Are people doing it on this board? I am not getting that. People have complained about it happening to Jaylen but I don't think any of those people made it seem like he was the only guy. I have seen complaints of Jaylen, Hayward, Kemba, Tatum and strangely, Carsen Edwards, being stuck in those corners. I think it's mostly a complaint of Stevens' system more than anything.

Just as long as Stevens doesn’t try that with Baby.  Then we’d really have a problem!

Last year for injury replacements, iirc they went with the next highest player in head coach (reserve) voting. Pretty sure D'Angelo Russell (#1) edged out Jimmy Butler (#2)

Ah, I forgot Beal. That is a bummer.

Jaylen will be #2 on the replacement list. He'll need two injuries to get into the All-Star game.

Much lower chance.

Do they select replacements from the same conference as the injured player?

That is, if an EC All Star is out, would they replace him only with an East guy, or could Booker sneak in?

It was always from the same conference in the past. I doubt they'd change it but they've changed so many other things that I am not 100% sure. 99% sure.

I actually thought the biggest complaint was with Gordon being put in the corner, not Jaylen.

NOBODY puts Gordon in a corner.

And I do love me some Jaylen, perfect response after (barely) missing out on an all-star selection.
