I think when you look at it as Kemba, JT, JB & Hayward vs Kawhi, PG, Montrezl and LouWill it’s a better argument.

Probably leaning towards the C’s on that one, with how our young wings keep playing. Lou Will and Montrezl have too many weaknesses (defence and rebounding) to be on the level of JB & Hayward

If we factor Smart then the balance tip towards our side..

If the Js keep this up and injuries is the only thing that will derail things tbh.. Then I like our chances against the Clips.

I think Kawhi and George still have us beat for a 1-2 combo, but it gets real interesting at 3 and 4. Williams and Montrezl are nice role players, but one-dimensional and can't hold a torch to our 3rd and 4th options.

I would favor our three for now and into the future. I see a whole lot of games where the Jay's both put up 30+ points in a game each. Today won't be the last time that happens.

I could also see the Celtics being the only team that will have 3 players that all have a 40 point game this season. Kemba already has one and I can easily see Brown and Tatum putting up one before year's end.

I want to comment on how each of our four are getting their points unselfishly. No hero ball or too quickly working in isolation. Brown and Tatum are improving exponentially and Hayward and Walker are just being team players all the way. Several teams have a better "2" but no team has a better four... er five when you add Smart.

I think we're the best four man unit when it comes to global offence - everyone is scaling back their offence to create an amazing synergy with their teammates. But as for scoring I think the Clippers are a step above us, Kawhi and PG are absolute monsters at high efficiency volume scoring while Lou and Harrell are no slouches.

Have your first TP. You sound like a CS/CB pro (but without the negativity  )

We genuinely have four All-Star caliber players - two of which have lots of room to grow - and an All-Defensive savant in Smart.

Honestly, pairing down our offensive options this year has worked wonderfully. I didn't dislike Morris and Rozier, but it was clear they were taking shots away from players we 'wanted' taking them. Also, if you factor in that we don't really 'need' Al Horford's shot taking on this iteration of the Cs, you can make the argument that Theis is covering admirably for him in other regards...with Hayward taking more of the playmaking responsibilities and Kanter more than holding his own down low.

It's been a very enjoyable season so far - much less frustration than last - and hopefully we can maintain this level of play and attitude for years to come. Maybe it's the Cs that are creating the new way for NBA teams to play.
