He's averaging 24/4/5 with career 3PA and 41%.

I've been extremely pleased, because he seems like a guy you can really enjoying playing with him, plus he has a great team-first attitude.

Basically what I expected. Good numbers and good dude overall for the locker room.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by his effort on defense. Everything I read did he was a really bad defender but he seems like he puts in the effort.

Yes! I am very pleased and with all the talk about Kyrie being the better player, I really think that Kemba is the better two way player. Kemba is also much more durable than Kyrie.

He's everything I wanted Kyrie to be plus he actually seems to make the people around him happy.

Kemba is precisely the kind of player you want to have representing and leading your team.

We're really lucky that we had Horford for three years and then got to replace him with Kemba.  Top shelf character & leadership guys.

His willingness to play off the ball and fully buy into the offense has been amazing.

He's also trying hard on defense and making up for his limitations with a lot of great effort plays.

He's been terrific so far.  My one concern is that so far when he's gone against teams that have length he has struggled offensively, but the sample size is small.  Love it that their best scorer works hard on the defensive end as well.

I agree, I think we've been spoiled a little bit by Isaiah Thomas, because even at his size, he was able to grab fouls or finish somehow through excellent body control.

I will say Kemba seems like a smart player who reads the defenses well, so hopefully over time, he may develop other moves to help him score past the trees.

Lead by example. That's exactly what I love about Kemba. He talks the walk.

Totally agree. He's great. Exceeded expectations and IMO has given the Cs more than Kyrie did. There are some teams whose length and defensive commitment give him trouble (I'm especially thinking of the Clippers game) and in those games we're going to need more from other players.

Absolutely! Like no drama Kyrie who goes into contact instead of away from it. Some great IT flashbacks from those quick release leaning forward 3s off the screens too.

Kemba seems even more effortless in how he scores than those guys, somehow.

Sometimes he dances and bounces around with the ball and gets himself open for a shot so fluidly it seems like he practiced that exact sequence of steps and hops a thousand times.  It's like the defender isn't even there.

Agreed

Plays more downhill than Kyrie was, Kyrie loves to dance with the ball of course.

Seems to be able to move at his own pace more than IT did, well I guess more that his pace isn't predicated on warp speed cuts and speed like IT was at his best.
