Kanter possibly out on Xmas game in Toronto due to passport/visa issues???

Can't remember where I saw this a couple of days ago...but if he can't travel C's would be down three centers.  I imagine Tacko would see some minutes.

How do this issues arise - C's have known this game was on the schedule for months now.  Is this part of Kanter ongoing fued with Turkish leaders?  Clearly I don't know how visas/passports work...

His passport has been revoked by Turkey and believe Turkey has filed an Interpol red slip on him which is supposed to get him arrested per a complicated web of international treaties so Turkey can make the case to extradite him. He has charges pending I believe within Turkey?

I don't think its publicly known if he's able to travel to Canada, because we don't know what their government and legal system will do about the situation. Its unlikely he would be extradited to Turkey, but he could easily be refused entry to Canada as he lacks travel documents.

The situation may have changed, but the public information is limited on the situation. Given that Kanter has been to DC and met with multiple US elected officials I am sure his lawyers are consulting with the US/Canada/NBA on this issue.
