Gordon Hayward received an MRI on his left foot last week. Received a cortisone shot but he expressed increased discomfort. Hayward will have another MRI and team hopes it’s just soreness. #Celtics

Seems bad, but hopefully this won't be a continuation of whatever curse Hayward has been under since he signed here.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Forsberg just tweeted foot has been bothering him since before he broke his hand.

This is not good news.

I wouldn't be that concerned except for the fact that he was out 4 weeks, and then had basically another week off.

Now that's a rational long-sighted response

I Wonder if it’s plantar fasciitis or if it’s something related to The dislocated ankle and the resulting surgery.

Does anyone know if He currently has any screws or plates from that dislocation surgery?

Vaguely recall his second surgery last year was to get the plate out, but can't remember if that was everything

He’d to be optimistic when this guy is constantly injured. At least if he was healthy and playing like an all star, it’s one thing. But we’ve gotten maybe 10 good Hayward games in like three years. It’s not a great sign that he’s got foot problems after basically not having played for a month.

Hayward hurt his foot when he broke his hand ? This is getting depressing.
Seems our team has been eaten alive with these little weird, fluke maladies all season. Like Smart, who gets an eye infection and then it get worse under intense medical care ? Rob Williams has some inflamation inside the bone of his hip - what is that ? So discouraging when we have such a good group of talented players who are playing hard and playing together and are getting worn down by this. We can't afford injuries - we are too little to begin with.

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:

Kevin Love is more injury-prone than Hayward...

Its worrisome because its coming up during a six day break. Like if this is just some soreness how does it get worse when you arent actually playing in games? I mean stranger things have happened, hopefully he'll be fine, but its a strange thing to see.
