Maybe he pushed the rehab a little too hard this summer?

Hayward hurt his foot when he broke his hand ? This is getting depressing.
Seems our team has been eaten alive with these little weird, fluke maladies all season. Like Smart, who gets an eye infection and then it get worse under intense medical care ? Rob Williams has some inflamation inside the bone of his hip - what is that ? So discouraging when we have such a good group of talented players who are playing hard and playing together and are getting worn down by this. We can't afford injuries - we are too little to begin with.

So unfortunate for Gordon. It's the reality of the NBA though. Every team has to deal with it. Spare a thought for NO who haven't had Zion, Brooklyn who haven't had Durant and Kyrie (maybe that's a blessing), Dallas who didn't have Doncic, Dubs who haven't had Klay and Steph, Blazers lost Nurkic and Hood...this is where teams have to lean on all the players on the roster and make sure the ones that are healthy stay healthy for the long term, even if it means missing a few games for load management/fake injuries/etc.

Situations like these, you wonder if it makes more sense to expand rosters so teams have more depth, like they do in competitions like the Premier League or even the NFL. But then I think of what a mess our team was last year because we did have the depth and we had players who blossomed when others were out, then they were unhappy when those injured players returned and messed up the chemistry. So there's no easy solution.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Stick a fork in him. He’s done.

Him and the Celtics are just not a good pairing.. That's all there is to it.

He was probably cursed by some Utah fan who does voodoo.

I would trade him for Love in a heartbeat.

Why would the Cavs do it?.. They would be able to get out of his contract which still has multiple yrs on it.

Gordon has an opt out at the end of the season and he will most definitely exercise it so he ain't stuck in hell in Cleveland.

Just the way the business is.

I hoped this was all about a trade. With the trading team wanting to make sure he is healed asked for new MRI, then Hayward was held out. I really don't want this to be about injury for the guy and C's.

This is not about a trade, he's just hurt.

The number of “fans” here who want to trade/dump Hayward following his latest set back is embarrassing. And pathetic.

LOL "my" feet are sore, too - don't mean that I can't play basketball or walk or whatever...

Let's just wait and see what the MRI says and wish the BEST for the man.

Goodness.

Seems like the Hayward/Celtics pairing was doomed from the beginning.

I would do Hayward/Ojeleye/Rob Williams/Vince Poirier for Love/Thompson.

Staring line up is Kemba/JB/JT/Love/TT with Smart as our 6th man.

Not a fan of Love or Thompson, and actually like Hayward but i'd honestly also make this trade.
