At this point I doubt the validity of the article....if it was a podcast with Jaylen's voice AND Scoop then it would be more believable.
My guess is some dude that's visited the blog and would love to see another 50 page thread.
You think someone published a completely fabricated article that has several quoted questions and answers? I mean really. This isn't the type of thing you can just make up and get away.
I mean you really think this is made up.
Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson: People have often said and made narratives about Kyrie being toxic. I don’t think that’s true, what do you say to people who question his heart and his ability to play the game of basketball?
Jaylen Brown: Everybody is going to have their own opinion. I don’t think Kyrie cares too much, maybe he does, and maybe he [Kyrie] shouldn’t care as much as he does. He’s Kyrie Irving at the end of the day … nobody is perfect. Kyrie got a lot of the blame and was undeserving. It wasn’t his fault that certain guys couldn’t take a step back. It wasn’t his fault. That was the front office and the coach’s fault. He gets a lot of that blame because he was the star. But a lot of that should be on the organization and coaching staff. It’s in the past. Kyrie is in a better place in Brooklyn, somewhere his roots are. He’ll be fine.
Moranis -
When I first joined this blog back in Oct 2009 one of the first things I learned - from Nick of course - was to post links / data - to back up my own posts - especially in heated debates.
I've also learned - over the years - that it IS possible to be misled by false information..."Fake News" - as some put it.
It "does" exist.
We've been the victims ourselves of this misinformation right here on the blog - especially around trade deadlines. Entities like "Incarcerated Bob" LOL - pop up and claim to know people...."SAUCES".....
When I googled "Scoop B Johnson" I saw all I needed. That is certainly "NOT" this dude's life story but it DOES - in fact - paint a rather unflattering view of him...a story of misinformation only to garner clicks and foot traffic......
It looks like - to Scoop - that Kevin Durant has teamed up with LeBron James in LAL.............just saying.
Shams Charania or Adrian Woj this dude is not.
Nowadays I don't put ANY amount of falsehoods past anyone. We ALL are susceptible to it. I don't put ANY limit on how far folks will go nowadays to get clicks or to mislead OR cause (or continue) confusion.
Look no further than our OWN politics.
Why couldn't this man - in this day and age of technology - simply podcast it?
This is all my take. If others want to get this thread up to 50 pages go right ahead but I'm signing out.
