Before the Celts lost these last two games, Celts were really looking like they were on par with the elite teams in the NBA.

But after these two losses, it's looking like the Celts are coming back to earth.

I think big teams are really a problem for the Celts.

Also, this season the Celts are giving up a lot of open 3s to opposing teams because the Celts are double teaming a lot inside.

Celts have to double team inside because the Celtic bigs are having trouble defending opposing bigs 1 on 1.

But there's a silver lining, all these Celtic losses will only make the Celts better and tougher for the playoffs.

The correct answer is no. You don't judge a team by its two best or its two worst games, and if these are the C's worst games they will win a lot of games.

The ack of an Embiid stopper is a problem. But its not one they can fix this year. So enjoy the ride.

Yes, I think the Celts can win a lot of regular season games, even without changes to the roster, this season.

But the concern is the playoffs and what happens when the Celts face teams like Indy, Philly, or Milwaukee.

Will the Celts win a lot of games in the playoffs if this trend continues?

I do agree if this trend continues its a disaster as the C's will miss the playoffs with a 17-65 record

Suddenly, it's become pretty easy for elite teams to win at Boston now in the major leagues.  :'(

Yeah two losses and this team are already scrubs! Trade Brown, trade Tatum. Blow this team up and tank!

Lol no, Brown and Tatum are still excellent players. It doesn't mean that they shouldn't get traded if we get good value for them though.

Some losses against likely playoff opponents is not such a bad thing in December. Gives Danny & Co. time address some weaknesses and address them for later in the season, when it really counts.

The bottom 8 players of the roster make a combined $15-16M. That’s a little less than $2M per player or basically the min. Except Semi no one else was playable against philly. I’m not sure how much more is there to analyze weaknesses as the fact that we lack rotation players has been obvious from the beginning of the season

Smart adds a level of toughness and never say die to this team that is not measured in his stats.   He is our leader.

It's measured in impact metrics , he's stupidly valuable for us (fringe All-Star type of guy).
