Lebron is 34 years old, soon to be 35 in a few weeks. He's going to fall off a cliff soon, and AD may possibly leave this summer. The Lakers traded away all their youth and picks to get AD, despite the fact that he wanted to come to LA. They are looking great now, but their future is bleak imo.
We have had great looking future for the last 6-7 years... at some points the future have to become now and we have to be real contenders or it will be a failure
In the grand scheme of things...the HEALTHIEST team always and I mean always wins it all.
NO TEAM in NBA history has won it all if a single player that is part of their core has gone missing or missed a pivotal game and or series or season...puff...all gone.
ln 2009 we were cruising and have an unbelievable record in the regular season until KG s season ended in that fateful game in Utah...game over, season over even though we won 60 wins that season, we were out in round 2.
YES the dang Fakers are 17-2 and really has a chance to be special this yr...but we are not even past the 1st quarter of the season so lets all chill for now....in the course of a long season anything is still possible.
the top 4 teams in both west and east must go through the season unscathed first before we could truly see who will emerge...we already had our share of bruising as we have lost GH.for some time now and its cost us the top seed..Fakers have yet to miss AD nor James for a significant amount of time.
Lakers truly have a very good team and their management have done a great job of fitting these vets together but their season will now depend on if their team can hold it together unscathed of injuries for the season.
I still believe and hope their across the locker team Clippers have what it takes to bring down Lebron and this so called mighty Fakers team.
