We just saw Allen he looks good. Both 21 years old. Bam is crushing it 14.5 PPG 10.5 RPG 4.5 APG! 1.5 bpg 1.3 SPG.

I'd be thrilled with either guy and I might trade the Memphis pick for Bam.

Allen is not worth the Memphis pick. Bam not happening . Miami laughs at the Memphis pick offer

Maybe try Jakob poetl from spurs .. drafted by Ujiri and coached by Pop.. next year he’s due for bigger contract so the spurs may listen

Miami thinks they have a chance to win the East. They're not trading a starter, especially not their only decent big.

Celtics have had many chances to add an Allen type, and yet don't. They don't value bigs the same way most fans do.

Jarret Allen is a really good rebounder.  He would add nice length and bounce to this Celtics squad.  And he'll be more affordable than Bam.  The only question is what price will be demanded for him.  If it is reasonable he would make a good addition before the trade deadline.

Jarret is worth the Memphis pick.  The question is, would Brooklyn do it

If Allen can revert back to a 70+% FT shooter then he could well be worth the Memphis pick. He's still really young.

Bam is untouchable I imagine.

If another team came to Danny for a deal of a possible lottery pick and filler for Tatum or Brown or Timelord, does anyone here think Danny would be on the phone for anything longer than a good laugh before hanging up?

If that's the case for Danny then why would the excellent GMs in Brooklyn and Miami do anything different if we called them up and offered a possible lottery pick and filler for their excellent 21 year old prospect that appears ready to break out?

Neither team would entertain moving either player except in a massive overpay. Sure they might trade those players....for Tatum. So how do you feel about trading for them now?

Why not just have trust in Robert Williams?

Neither Bam or Allen is much better. Just more experienced ... but Timelord is closing the gap

I like Bam a lot, and I would definitely trade the Memphis pick for him. Alas, that seems unlikely at this point.

As far as Rob is concerned, I don’t trust in his knees; but if his body holds up, he’s got a chance to be special.
'I was proud of Marcus Smart. He did a great job of keeping us together. He might not get credit for this game, but the pace that he played at, and his playcalling, some of the plays that he called were great. We obviously have to rely on him, so I’m definitely looking forward to Marcus leading this team in that role.' - Jaylen Brown, January 2021

Memphis pick for Bam is laughable if you're Miami.

It just doesn't make sense for Miami.

As always, if Miami are struggling at the deadline he might be had. But it would take a huge offer. Possibly Tatum + memphis pick.

Bam for sure.

I don't think he's going to be available at all though.
