  • GOT IT!!!
Given the age of our players, pushing a team as talented as the Clippers to the end of an overtime on the road. Wow. We are  developing a team with players that have ice in their veins, and we are going to be good for a loooong time. Wow I'm impressed.

Most definitely. These guys are blossoming in front of our eyes.  :)

Game 4 of their West coast trip, playing the title favorites, without arguably the Celtics best player, and the Clippers still needed the refs to "fix" the game in their favor to win.

Robert Williams should have played more mins at the end

Not Theis

Man ... the Celts should of had this one

I completely disagree with that, Theis played really really well.
4-8 fg, 14 rebounds, 6 assists 3 steals and huge def effort

Also all the reviews are killing me. It seems like there are 5-6 the end of every game.

It’s more like watching football. You have to be doing something else during the ref breaks.

What?

Theis as the best big on the floor tonight, for either team.

BS. Should've never got to this point. Incompetent officiating and poor in-game management blew it. Just unbelievable. Brad deserves to lose some money ripping the refs tonight, but of course we know Babyface Brad won't be sticking up for his players like that.

he got a tech in overtime. Arguably the c's would have been better off if he stood up for his players less.

Naw, his whole nice guy routine just doesn't work. He'd get more respect and we'd get ripped off like this less if he did more to work the refs. That's just human nature.

Besides, it was more of his typical in-game mismanagement than anything that screwed us over tonight, along with both Kemba and Brown having God-awful nights.

I really have no idea how he mismanaged the game, I mean he played all his guys about 36 minutes at the end of regulation. Thats a fair amount. The bench was all over the neutral mark in +/- so it appears he played the right guys. He was smart getting Tatum matched up on McGruder while Kawhi and Leonard were out which helped him get hot in the 3rd. He went with kanter who gave us positive minutes despite it not being an obvious choice.

Brown and Kemba and to a lesser degree Smart just have to hit shots.

I’m not usually this guy but... refs totally turned this game.

Regardless, Celtics have a ton of fight and are in every game despite sluggish starts, or reffing or strong opponents. This team always has a punchers chance. Go Celtics!! tps to positivity

Brad got a tech, that's all you need to know about the refs....

Or he'd get a worse whistle because nobody likes getting called out on national TV. Or it has no effect at all.

If that's the case then virtually every other team would be getting a worse whistle than us, which I think we all know isn't happening.

Brad simply has to work the refs better. That's just how the NBA coaching game goes. Even if it comes in post-game pressers, he should be ripping the refs for their blatant poor calls.

Again man, there's no evidence this works at all. Foul shots were close to even, the bonus didn't really come into play, the refs let a lot of contact go, fousl were 22-18. There were two obvious bad calls, one he challenged and didn't get overturned the other he got a tech for arguing. Theres not a lot more he can do.

In OT no less. Almost never gets called then.

REFS REFS REFS REFS REFS REFS... I knew we would lose this game because of the TWO bad calls in the 1st half....the Obvious JUMP BALL, that they called a foul on Wannamaker, lead to 2 Leonard free throws....and the ball off of Leonard's heal---that they gave back to the Clippers-and George promptly hits a corner 3 pointer..FIVE points GIFTED to the Clippers....we lose in OT....plus the obvious CHARGE, that they called a block on Walker in OT.....
THE REFS THE REFS THE REFS.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Stevens still hasn't learned to assign roles. Now we have to deal with Smart taking every clutch shot for a team with 3 potential all stars on the court, and tonight, one that was red hot. It's nearly embarassing

When JT is red hot and the team rides out Marcus Smart's 1-11 hand you know there is something off about the coaching. No pulse. Worth pointing out though that when we were up 2 with 30 seconds to go Kemba had a pretty good look at a layup, and passed it for a Smart 3. If you're a closer you can't pass that, especially to who he did

Jaylen Brown back to being Jeff Green 2.0 again on Offense.

Kemba also picked the best time to go daydreaming..

O for 16 start from three... Is that a record or something?.
