Doubt it's ever happening. Kawhi was already a Finals MVP and shut down Lebron at the age that Jaylen is now. One can hope though...

I like Jaylen a lot. He's grown his game every year. But I can't see him ever reaching 1st team all-nba level.

I think Jaylen will still be playing when Kawhi’s career has ended, so there will come a point when their career arcs intersect.  But much tho I love Jaylen, I don’t expect him to beat Kawhi at an identical age expect for the year Kawhi sat out.

It's a possibility. I don't think Kawhi was as good of a passer compared to Jaylen at the same age. Jaylen might be able to best Kawhi's age 24-26 seasons if he ups his scoring to star levels, but Kawhi's offensive profile this season is probably too high of a hurdle for Jaylen barring an insane leap.

I choose not to compare, and enjoy Jaylen for who he is, a very talented guy who is dedicated to making himself the best Jaylen Brown.

i see Brown being more of a Butler like player , tricky , quick , smart .  Kawhi is about as close to physical abilities as anybody has been to Lebron .   Being tuff, tall , and quickness of Rondo all in one package. 

That said ,  I still take MJ as THE GOAT.

Never. I don't think he has the physical size or strength to replicate Kawhai's game. I also don't think MVP level player is a realistic expectation for his growth.

If Jaylen is in the league after Kawhi retires then probably then? Or if Kawhi has major chronic injury problems but let's not get into that.  Otherwise lol not happening.

Hard to say really, Kawaii Leonard took a few years to become what he has become. He didn't take the world by storm like a Lebron or KD.

Going just on stats Jaylen's season 4 looks an awful lot like Kawaii Leonard's season 4.

Jaylen probably doesn't have Leonard's ceiling overall but I think he is every bit as athletic and they are the same height. Physically they're actually pretty similar. And I expect Jaylen will continue to get physically and mentally stronger every year.

Really it's hard to predict. I'd say no just because the odds of a player reaching Leonard's heights are pretty low.
