What was that blatant disrespect by Smart ????

He should be sent to the shower. No need for that crap

Oh good Lord you guys are blowing this out of proportion lol

You don't get Smart's fire and intensity and elite D without these kinds of things sometimes happening. That's the nature of these types of competitive players. Luckily the coaching staff understands that and gives him a bit of leeway in these times. As long as he doesn't go overboard, he's fine.

No. That is unacceptable

Send him to the showers

Hayward being back to pre-injury form is something that could actually get me to care about this team again.  Other than Tatum/Smart I couldn't less about the rest of the guys on this roster.  I still don't like this coach.  He couldn't tie Doc's shoes.  But if Hayward and Tatum are going to be the main guys, with Smart as the heart and soul, I can get behind that.  Everyone else needs to stay in their lane, they're role players.

I believe The Surgeon is going to replace much of what left with Big Al.

He is not quite as good defensively but his leadership, scoring, rebounding, facilitating....it's there.

He's no slouch defensively, either.

Agreed - he must have learned that from Kyrie, his "brother".

 ::)

Smart has been like that since he started playing ball. He has more heart in his pinky finger than Kyrie has in all of his body.

Suggest you give Brown another look. He’s making a leap. And plays with heart - not as intense as smart, but also more controlled.

Clapping in your coach's face is going overboard. Smart's emotional outbursts usually are directed at opponents or officials. I don't remember seeing him being disrespectful to coaches.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Jaylen should get more minutes, even in garbage time just to get him more in rhythm.

The surgeon?  Who are you talking about?  The closest replacement to Horford we have is Grant Williams.  He's not nearly as good offensively but he makes a lot of defensive and 'tough guy' plays.

Can’t help it. I’m a Brown fan.
