Hayward and Tatum were hot garbage. And even though he’s got 11 points, I don’t like relying on Marcus to shoot threes. Celts need to attack the basket. Leave the outside scoring to Kemba.

Severely outplayed in that half.   Yeah -- Tatum and Hayward very disappointing.   I never give up on them -they've both been stronger in the 2nd half.

They’re going to have to be.

and here I tought we might finish the half only 10-12 behind .
Bad all around, only positive is good D on Gianis.

The team should pull their tail between their legs and realize Giannis is nothing without the refs. He's no Lebron (yet). Stop doubling him and live with it. Contain his teammates instead which Brad have not figured out yet.

I don't think it's an exaggeration to say, maybe Jaylen could actually end up better than Tatum in the long run. That discussion certainly is still on

not for me it is not.... Jaylen is better so  far.
Jaylen is way better. Tatum isn’t even a young poor mans Melo he’s a washed up 45 year old Melo.

I have been a big Brown defender so first of all let me say Jaylen Island has excellent schools, fine weather, and terrific beverages with little umbrellas.

But also I think Tatum will be fine. He's been asked to change his shot profile radically and he needs his skills to catch up. Its gonna take him time to figure out how to take the proper angles, change speeds ect when finishing. He's not an elite athlete so he needs to better understand how to be shifty. I think he can.

He also needs to stop losing the ball on drives.

I know midrange 2s are the least "efficient" shot in basketball, but if you have a team full of guys whose reliable shot is in the midrange rather than from deep (where they're shooting a miserable percentage), at what point do you stop demanded they launch threes and just let them shoot the 2s?

No Kyrie, No Horford, business as usual vs top team in conference...Starting to see why Kyrie was heaving insane impossible shots last years in playoffs rather then trusting his mates in big games to hit shots.

Bad shape when Hayward plus Tatum is less then Smart so far. 11-10 smart is ahead on offense and on defense Smart is pitching shutout vs them.

Without huge leaps by Brown and Tatum this year, mediocrity is where we will be this year vs top teams. Thankfully might only be two top teams in our conference. Hayward needs to click soon as well.

This game has brought me back to reality..High 40s in wins is where it feels like now.
