I know we are dealing with some injuries, and Brown is sick.

But so far this season, it feels like we'll win a lot of games, but clearly MIL + PHI are ahead of us in the East. And a handful of Western teams are better than us too.

So they'll be playing like last year, except no Kyrie Irving and Al Horford.

Pretty much. I mean, I think that was the expectation anyways. Around 47-51 wins, maybe a 2-3 seed at best, but more like 3-4 seed.

I don't think it's an exaggeration to say, maybe Jaylen could actually end up better than Tatum in the long run. That discussion certainly is still on

He’s already better, and he’s visibly improving while Tatum is not.  Pretty easy statement to make at this point.

Severely outplayed in that half.   Yeah -- Tatum and Hayward very disappointing.   I never give up on them -they've both been stronger in the 2nd half.

Hayward is personally responsible for 5 point turnaround against Cs and a foul on Smart. Get him off the court. He is really stinking up the joint.

Jaylen may have had his problems, but his strength and body development was never one of them. Tatum is flat out light and weak.

Giannis has already fouled out of two games this season. The memo was sent.

Lol even Joe Borgia is throwing his hands up trying to explain the refs' decisions. I don't understand how you can be that bad at your job, even with replay capability!!

Smart did shift slightly before the hit. Also keep in mind there has too be clear reason to overturn a call, so those two things combine make that a tough one to overturn.

Also Giannis is not  good shooter, why try to take a charge at all against a guy running full speed who just air balled two free throws? There's no upside to that play.

Brown have frog leaped Tatum in development since last season. More smarter with his decision, improved handling and not to mention elite defensive tools.

They gave Air Giannis 3 free throws on that even after review? Crazy!

not for me it is not.... Jaylen is better so  far.
Jaylen is way better. Tatum isn’t even a young poor mans Melo he’s a washed up 45 year old Melo.

The silver lining is they only outscored us by 1 in the 2nd...if not for those 3 Giannis FTs we would have won that quarter. Just stop them getting to the rim, stop them shooting 3s and make some shots on our end and we’re good

This.  Argue block/charge if you want, but it was a dumb play.  The best outcome is we get the ball with a second on the clock.  The worst outcome is what happened.

Bad play by Smart.
