 Wilt Chamberlain type numbers. Just got to keep the endurance up big Tacko! 48 PPG and 36 RPG and he can rebuild Sudan by himself.

Yep it can lead to odd results for players that play like 2-3 mins of garbage time. For a while last year I think PJ Dozier was leading our per-36 for most of the year.

I think it makes sense for players who get regular rotation minutes but not a lot of minutes, e.g. i thought it was good gauge of Gordon's progress last year as he only played 20 mins for a large part of the season.

Guys that big--Wilt, Shaq, Russell. They got easy shots around the basket. Tacko shoots 75%.

Auerbach's winning strategy was to get easy shots. Beat the defense down the court for easy baskets. The transition game.

I'm not sure that's the current style of play.

This is only very loosely related to this thread (well, not really at all, actually), but just wanted to let everybody know that since a base was stolen in the WS, it is 'steal a base, steal a taco' day at Taco Bell today from 2-6pm. I mean, it isn't anything special, but at least you get one of the Doritos Locos variety  ;D

I think the Celtics should teach Tacko not to leave his feet on defense.  That is how he gets fouls called usually. The fact is, he is so freakin' long he doesn't have to jump to make his presence felt in the paint, to block shots, etc.  Just has to learn better to move his feet from side to side in the paint. His legs are so long, he can probably cover half the paint by keeping one foot out of the paint at all times, and lift the one in the middle of the paint ever 2.9 seconds to avoid defense 3 violation.  Isn't the rule that you recount so long as you do that?  I may be wrong.
