Good team win. Love to see Hayward pumped up, and Kemba integrating himself seamlessly.

We gonna acknowledge that small ball completely turned the tide in our favor? Or will the usuals just stay quiet tonight?

Never !!!!!!!!

Yeah, no way are we acknowledging that we have small balls

Great to see Brown have a monster game! Who and Somebody are proven to be right ;D

It's 1 game.

Brown has to do it on a regular basis.

If Brown also improves his FT shooting, he will be a monster.
ha ha ha...it is one game. after a loss one game seemed to be good indicator of an abysmal celtics season. after a win one game is of no importance.

i celebrate and rejoice in all celtics wins!!!!!!!   ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

We might be 1-1 but after tonight I'm pretty sure we lead the league in charges taken. Guys are definitely getting into lanes and taking charges a lot more than I remember.

So nice to hear Kemba Walker's interview on the court post-game. He is obviously thrilled by the experience of winning an important game in the Garden and the support of his teammates. But most refreshing was hearing normal answers that were not philosophical or strange or self-serving or patronizing. Just a happy player who broke out of a short slump and loved winning the game with his teammates.

You mean he was not trying to sound 'smart'? LOL

Nice to see Jayson give Abby the assist on the interview. They are back to having fun.

I wasn't referring to the Celtic season, I was referring to Brown doing it on a regular basis.

This Celtics team is no way abysmal.
Ainge will upgrade this team on or before the trade deadline.

I think this Celtics team will surprise a lot of NBA fans.

tonight's takeaways:
- Jaylen is making the case his contract is justified.  playing at the next level over what he finished at last season
- Hayward's definitely better than last season.  more aggressive with shooting but still willing to set up teammates.  no longer looking like his shot is broken.
- Kemba didn't let poor shooting give him a reason to mope.  played hard on D until his shot came around.  didn't see that from Kyrie last year
- Tatum had another tough shooting night but made the effort on D and the boards.  good to see.
- Smart was back to bad shooting Smart that we've seen his through his career but his D is still amazing
- Timelord looked surprisingly good tonight.  I wasn't expecting much from him this season but if he can give us this same level of play every night, it'll make a huge difference for this team
- GWill played like an experienced bench guy tonight.  tough shooting night (hard to believe he took that many shots) but made a lot of good plays.
- Theis played a respectable game except for his shooting.  looking like he did his first year here.

- only downside for me was Wanamaker.  looked like he was trying to hard to stand out rather than go with the flow in the game.

56 wins is very realistic for this Celtics team.

He still had trouble committing fouls, but he deserves to be the starter.

RWill has improved from last season.
