Great. One game in and the crap's already flying.

Injuries happen.

Yup. But they happen to some teams (such as Boston) more than others.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

Well people who want to see Poirier and Timelord are going to see them going up against Gasol and Ibaka.

Can we please sign Noah to a ten day contract? He looked good last year for Memphis for spot minutes.
Good for recording podcasts?
He is talkative and interesting character, but IMO some 4-5 years removed from playing good basketball.

Tonight's a good night to break out the Tackos.

I thought Robert Williams was a surprising bright spot last night.  Certainly brings a different element compared to other centers so looking forward to seeing his progression.

Same here. I loved seeing how active he was on opening night.

He's still too easily fooled on defense but it does seem like his being defense-first is a more comfortable fit with that starters.

I thought he was one of the few bright spots vs Philly. It's good that he'll probably get a lot of minutes tonight.  They're going to need him to be a regular in the rotation.

I would not be surprised if Brad plays 4 wings and 1 PG again.

Agreed. Time to ditch the training wheels and get thrown right into the fire. All hands on-deck (especially at center.)

Would be a bad move (IMO) I'd go with Kemba/Jaylen/Hayward/Tatum/RW3

Also, I'd let and encourage Kemba to let it fly and be the Kemba from Charlotte. I know he's trying to do the right thing and move the ball but if he's got the open shot, take it!!

We need someone to be the go-to scorer on the team and I think Kemba is the guy.

Well, well, 4 wings and a PG worked.  Many hate small-ball but Brad did it out of necessity and it changed the game.

He still makes mistakes, and he had trouble especially in the 2d half. But he didn’t look lost out there the way he used to and esp in the 1st half he made a bunch of solid plays. Given his amazing physical tools, if this is his level of court awareness he’s already useable and they can play him in Boston while he gains experience. The on-court performance seems to confirm reports that he is putting in the work and is learning. I was very skeptical of his ability to play meaningful minutes this year but after the first two games I’m starting to think I’ll be very wrong - and very happy about it.
