I was impressed with his handles and ability to drive, but not finish tonight.

On the bright side, he was known in college as an elite finisher.  So we shouldn’t have any reason to be concerned on that front.

I thought he looked pretty good, especially for not playing in such a long time.  Looks like he cools be a pretty decent slasher.  You just have to wonder whether hell ever really fit in with the current group, as his skill set is a little too close to the guys in front of him.

I think this is a key point - he hasn’t played, and that probably helps account for some lapses in timing and awareness. But the skills and physical talent were very easy to see; this kid is smooth and he’s got great potential as a slasher/shot creator. If his shot comes around and the court sense is there he’s a steal at 14 in the draft.

It’s going to real interesting to see him come along.

He shows more NBA skills than Jevonte Green, even though everyone was fawning over him last game.

He got relegated to the CBS corner role, which is pretty normal for rookies. I would have liked to see him call for the ball more, but when he did get the ball, he was aggressive and showed the ability to beat his man.

I hope Romeo doesn't turn into our version of Markelle Fultz.
Uh, Markelle Fultz was a No. 1 overall pick. Langford was drafted 14th.

Even if Langford never plays a minute of NBA basketball, he wouldn't be "our version of Markelle Fultz."

P.S. For what it's worth, I think the kid is going to be a stud.

College tape shows Romeo has a nose for getting to the hoop. Last night he displayed that, despite a lot of rust.

I like the fact that they've drafted another guy who can get to the hoop and score.  It's always fun seeing a guy play for the first time.  I just hope they can find him minutes.
