I predict a big rankings bump for Jaylen at the end of the season.

Jaylen Brown ahead of Drummond is laughable.

Yeah, crazy. Multiple AS appearances, and he's arguably the best rebounder of the 2010's.

The rankings are projections for the upcoming season.  It is not far fetched that Jaylen could have a better season than Drummond.  I think the SI rankings had Jaylen right behind Drummond.

Giannis came in at 1 ahead of Kawhi.
That's completely fair, Giannis had an all-time season last year. Imo he and Curry are the clear cut top two players in the league.
Really?  Curry and Giannis clearly better than Leonard?  Did you watch the playoffs last year?

I did, Giannis was dominant in the first two rounds and played him to a draw in the ECF, while Curry was fantastic throughout the playoffs (including the finals) aside for the second round. They also had much better regular seasons, which imo should be taken into account when evaluating players.

This is why anything that comes out of ESPN is not to be trusted.  Smart at 87 ?  Just plain crazy.  Build a team.  Any team.  Pick any 4 you want.  Number 5 will always be Marcus Smart.

Uhhhhhhhhh considering that the normal range of number fives should be 121-150, #87 is super high for a fifth man (at best on a good team) like Smart.

So you think he is the 5th best player on a team.  So that would make him at best 121st (30 teams, 4 players per team).
Historical Draft - Portland Trailblazers
PG - Magic Johnson, Tony Parker
SG - Clyde Drexler, Dennis Johnson, Alvin Robertson
SF - James Worthy, Alex English
PF - Charles Barkley, Ben Wallace
C - Moses Malone, George Mikan, Brad Daugherty
