For STM, the Celtics divide the games into five groupings for tax purposes, under the theory that if you give a good game to charity, you should get more value than if you give a bad game.
Platinum games are valued at a 70% premium to your average face value. So if your average ticket price is $100 (i.e., you paid $4,300 per ticket for the entire season), a platinum game is valued at $170.
Gold: 30% above the average ticket price in your plan
Green: Valued at the average cost
White: White games are valued at a 15% discount to the average plan price
Gray: Gray games are valued at a 35% discount to the average ticket price.
Today's Quiz: The Celtics have labeled four games as Platinum, six games as Gold and eight games as gray. Put the correct games in each of those three categories (The other two have too many games to list.).
Note: There are a few teams that the Celtics play twice where the games fall into different categories. Generally, that happens because one of the games is on a date that is popular, regardless of who they are play. To get the correct answer, you must also list the date that they play the particular team.
Note: I have listed the correct answers underneath my name. I've colored them white so that they don't show up, but if you highlight the area below my user name, it will show you the answers.
Schedule:
