Hayward is a given

but what about Kemba?

the guy has missed a total of 6 games in the last 2-3 seasons. But if the Celts want to make a deep run in the playoffs, they will need an untaxed version

I would sit him between 10-12 games for this season.  Especially near the end of the regular season.

I wouldn't force him to sit out games. I would cut down his minutes, though (he's played >34.2 mpg every year but his rookie season)

Brad typically plays guys shorter minutes, and we have some good depth at PG, so I think ~30 mpg will happen pretty naturally
I'm bitter.

I would do a combination of reduced mpg 30-32 max and also some games off after the all star break.

I agree with this

hopefully he is not like Zdeno Chara and unless can't walk, won't sit out games

I agree with the 30 min

but I disagree of not forcing him to sit, if he is reluctant

No.

The team first needs to get to the playoffs.

They won't get there with the team's offseason acquisition on "load management."

Like it or not, Stephens is very conservative with his top guys in terms of minutes per game. Kyrie averaged 33 minutes per game last year, for instance, which sounds about right for Walker.

Stevens is always trying to squeeze out every win. Sometimes at the cost of development so I don’t expect it but who knows. I’d agree with posters saying some games after all star break. I’d probably rest him on a couple of back to backs. We’re not winning a title anything soon but I also don’t see a reason to run him into the ground for a couple more wins.

I don’t think so. Unless sitting him when we’re blowing a team out counts
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I wouldn’t load manage anyone.
Except me  ;D  I am absolutely vital to my company's success, so I think I need 6 weeks of vacation.

He'll get less minutes but I doubt he sits out games without injuries. Kyrie got 30+ but likely would have gotten less had he not asked for more minutes pretty early in the season IIRC, something about needing more PT to get into bball shape. I think in the beginning the plan was to get Terry more minutes per game, but Kyrie needed more PT and at that point you had to give them to him.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Kemba will get the lions share of minutes with Rozier gone.  Edwards will see some playing time but it’s unusual for a coach to trust a rookie pg with extended minutes.  Also Kemba is super durable.  I don’t see Wanamaker earning significant minutes either.

If he takes games off for no reason I doubt it will be his choice given his history.
