I thought it was wide open even if KL returned to Toronto and those that think Toronto will be a playoff team without him we were watching other teams! That team is garbage without him! In the playoffs everything went through KL, I don't see how you recover from that.

Uri went Danny Ainge ...cheap and too conservative, not giving up what ever it took to have PG and Keep Kawhi in Toronto.   Siakimand Ob wan kano bee are not worth the once in 100 year opportunities to repeat and dominate in Toronto.    Major major screwup. Its not like Toronto can get those stars again .  SMH .....this was even worse than Danny losing Davis .

Celtics are the best when they are overlooked. They will be an after thought in the East and end up being very good.

It wasnt in the cards. Heck they just won a championship. Apparently everyone but you know that Kawhi wants to play in LA.

Teams like Piston, Heat only pathway to get a guy like RW is via trade

Heat could trade - KO, Waiters and another salary plus Tyler Herro and multiple 1sts
Pistons could trade - Doumbouya, multiple firsts and Drummond as starters

Heat can pair RW and Butler. Pistons Griffing with RW

Miami isn't a bad idea.  It makes some sense after going all-in on Butler.  That said, I wonder if Butler already has plans to partner with a disgruntled Superstar from another franchise.  Miami could easily pull off something next off-season.

Yes...CBS is great at coaching this type of team. I could see the finishing 1st in the East. If we could avoid Milwaukee,  they could go deep into the playoffs too.

Yes. I see us a 3-4 seed in the East, but not too far from the top two either (MIL, PHI). If we have better chemistry on the court that'll improve us vastly even after losing Kyrie, Horford, Morris, etc.

Also keep in mind that possibility of injuries and trades/signings in-season which would become factors too.

I think we're contenders again. Maybe not true Finals threats or Top-3 in overall odds to win it all,, but still a contender that's still capable of one.

Pretty much what we have been ever since KG knee gave out.
With the exception of one season we obviously tanked.. we are a curious case of being stuck not in mediocrity but a fringe contender status for a decade now
