The Clippers are sending Oklahoma City their unprotected 2022, 2024 and 2026 picks, their unprotected 2021 and protected 2023 first-round picks via Miami, and the rights to swap picks with the Clippers in 2023 and 2025, league sources said.

Worst than Celts fleecing of the nets

Leonard and PG13 wont be good or injury prone after 2-3 seasons

Lol and you don't think if guys like Kawhi or AD were wiling to commit here long term that Ainge wouldn't have traded for them?

It's not "bigger balls" when the player literally tells you that he wants to play for you.

Really???  Clippers got Leonard to sign a 4 year deal if they got PG13 who is also signed for 3 more years.  They guarantee to be good for 4 years because both are signed.  It's easy to make a ballsy move when the guys you are getting want to be there and are signed.  Ainge did a ballet move getting Kyrie and that didnt work out.  If Kyrie resigned AD would be a celtic.  As soon as Kyrie moved on the Cs did the smartest thing they could and went young and got Kemba.  West made a ballsy move.  What a lot of people wanted Ainge to do was to be reckless.  I'm glad ainge is the one in charge.  Toronto won this year because GSW imploded with injuries.  Now Leonard leaves and toronto is back to the middle of the pack with aging players.  Outside of siakim they are muddy with no future and no assets.  Go celtics.

Exactly. TP.

It's like saying I have "bigger balls" than another guy for jumping off a cliff with a bungee cord while he refuses to do it because he doesn't have one.

I've seen a lot of dumb things posted on Celtics forums, but saying West has "bigger balls" because Kawhi LITERALLY WANTED TO PLAY FOR THE CLIPPERS is one of the dumbest.

Wow. The league has remapped itself in about two weeks.

I will say there is a certain balance of power, considering. Considering the movement, we could have had one team emerge with an GS like advantage, but that didn't happen.

The Lakers and the Clippers made deals for second superstars with brutal longer term consequences, although the Clippers still seem to have a decent supporting cast.

I'm guessing the Clippers are the new favorites, but who knows if their roster will work?

The teams in the finals, the Raptors and GS,  are both destroyed.

Houston has started to melt down.

The Nets have to wait on Durant returning from an awful injury and hope Kyrie doesn't screw it up.

Philly has a weird, gigantic lineup that may not be able work in a league filled with killer point guards.

Milwaukee lost Brogdon and Hill.

Its really too bad Horford left. We'd have had a shot if everything went right. I like our chances longer term.

Its going to be a crazy season.

Lol. Kawhi is 28 and PG is 29. They have a longgg way to go and will probably win a couple of titles along the way. This isn't even remotely close to the Celtics' fleecing of the Nets where we sent them two guys in their late 30s.

The sad thing is that we could have had George and kawhi teaming here plus possibly Kyrie and Horford or even butler ... their prices were that low the last 2/3 summers...
but Danny was in love with Hayward and the Js ... such a waste of assets by the man that always make the “right” move

We hear this a lot, but it is obvious that Kawhi wants to be in LA. He just won a championship in Toronto and he is still leaving for LA. All that would have happened if the Celts had traded for Kawhi is that he would have left for LA. Nor can we assume the Celts would have won a championship, possibly but not for sure. With respect to Hayward, he was a really good player, no one could have predicted his injury. It’s simply does not make sense to look back at scenarios that could have been and assume everything would have gone exactly the way we would have wanted.

Well I think you can look back at scenarios. Ainge has always been about flexibility and being able to trade for a star if the price is right.. he went away from the philosophy when he drafted jaylen and landed Hayward.. those were the right moves at the time but everyone knew even a healthy Hayward is not enough to win a title when the league is dominated by 5/6 small forwards .. half of them were available the last two summers... also the rose trade rule screwed us up on so many levels I have the feeling danny overlooked that rule when he traded for Irving

Hopefully the Lakers have another dysfunctional season and Davis bails on LeBron next summer. That would be truly amazing.

I d like that too but AD the klutch client  is not going to let LBJ hanging like that
as we have just witnessed, klutch is not all powerful. they failed this year. they can fail next year.

we can all hope  ;D

Oh my god this is the absolute best case.

Out of the East, not to the Lakers, and ADs dumbass punished.

Excuse me while I revel in browsing Lakers reddit and silverscreenandroll.
and let's not forget that Davis gave up $4,000,000 as well. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha....
