Unfortunately the timing of everything (i.e. the S&T) leads me to believe the Celtics might strike out big time on bigs.

Going wait to see what happens before I panic but I can already see the plan. C’s will sign one or two average bigs and see how the team looks up to the deadline. Aren’t going to get an above average big without making a trade.

I'm sure Danny is very active in his pursuit of a big man or two.  Unfortunately, the biggest part of the process is working out a sign and trade to free up the MLE.  Realistically, I see Danny Ainge pursuing a trade after the free agency period is over with.  This might mean parting ways with a rookie + future draft picks.

We dont have money to sign Cousins or Katner unless they take less money which wont happen so our best options as of now are

I think at this point, if we could sign a young big like WCS, Noel, Looney or Vonleh to start and then get a depth big like Nene or Kufos I'd be pretty content.

Favors traded to New Orleans for a few second rounders.

Could have got a player in a position of need that would have been a great al replacement for a bag of peanuts.
