Can't blame him for going for the money at age 33. Good luck!

Well, Kyrie and Durant in NJ and now Horford to the Sixers. Thanks for your professionalism  Al, hope you never sniff the finals though. May you continue to keep missing getting to the big dance.

Our division is pretty tough.

Who will be the closer for Philly at end of big games? Embiid is not enough and Al and Sim are not closers as well. Who will guard those two tall towers from our team though? Gulp.....

To attempt to answer your two questions:

Harris will be the closer, sometimes Embiid. And no one on our currently constructed team can guard either of those guys.

I can't really blame him. He went for the team that offered him most money. At least it wasn't out of spite like Ray did

How much more money does he need?

I was wrong to guess he was after a ring next

thanks Al for all you did with the Celtics.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

If he was ring-chasing where would he have gone though? To the Lakers?

lol what? No one on our team can guard Harris? He's one dimensional. Embiid is the big problem for us.

If Harris is their closer, they will never make the finals. We can stop him without a problem.

Not just the most money.  Also a team that could be a contender.

Yeah, plus Harris was really inefficient in Philly with their real lack of floor-spacing. Replacing Butler and Redick with Horford and Richardson (?) is not really helping that either.

If you have a chance for money and a ring, I guess you go there. Ultimately Danny didn't want to offer him the money. Most of us wouldn't have, either.

Good for Danny

Instead got Kemba

But what would have been amazing is if Horford signed with a west conf team

Yeah, there many people on here trying to lock him down for $15M/yr - guess Al wasn't too keen on a team-friendly deal. Sometimes other teams just overpay your players - nothing you can do but move on to the next negotiation.
