If Charlotte actually wants Rozier hopefully we can do a double S&T Walker for Rozier to create a large TPE.

Looney would be a great value. I could see him outplaying any contract we gave him.

who do the refer to when they say 'league sources'? Would 'league sources' be in the know and pass along what is obviously tampering?

Glad Capella isn’t really an option. It would be a mistake imo to give up assets for that guy.

Interesting regarding Looney and Kanter.

Curious to see if Cs would consider a player like Richaun Holmes. I think he would be pretty cheap.

Same here.  I think it's a better idea to fill the front court with a couple of free agent signings, ideally with contrasting styles of play.  Ainge should also have more options, via trade, at the conclusion of free agency.

The Celtics should be just fine during the regular season if our best players can develop chemistry together.    Hopefully RWIII can turn into a reliable contributor by the end of the season.

Rather sign two defensive centers (R. Lopez, Noel) and keep the core together.

Kanter played well in the playoffs, and was not so bad defensively, at least relative to his reputation.  But I would be very surprised they could get him at the $4.8 mm exception.

Looney would be great for us, since he has so much experience in the GSW offense. He is very good at back door cutting.

Still holding out hope we manage to snag Noah Vonleh.  He really improved last season, and I expect him to continue to improve. Only 23!!

Okay Saltlover, this is where you tell us all how we can structure a trade between Rozier and Walker to create more cap space to sign a really good FA center!!!

If we use a sign-and-trade involving either Kyrie or Horford to acquire Walker (Rozier would be needed in a trade involving Kyrie) we will have access to the MLE at near $9 million in year 1 rather than the room exception at $4.8 million.  This would obviously elevate our level of competition in the free agent big market.  We would also gain access to the BAE at $3.6 million in year one for additional depth.

Al in NO would be a good fit for that franchise.
