I don't know what the story is on this kid.
I know he's super smart in math and sciences.
I know he's super tall and athletic for his height, and that he defended Zion well in that UCF game. He did run into foul trouble, or UCF might have won that game.
I also learned that Horford went to UCF--or had the same coach. UCF seems to be a good team.
But I also know that he didn't get drafted the first two rounds. Why?
He looked pretty good in the video I saw. Sure he's not an outside shooter, but that's not his role.
He's a rim protector. A paint guy.
What's this contract Ainge gave him? Do they have first dibs on him in the Summer League for a regular contract?
If the guy is mobile, you can't beat that height. It conquers all inside.
