James Ennis to 76ers also..they killing it
O'Quinn and James Ennis and Horford? Wow, the 76ers might just win it all next season if Leonard doesn't go to the Lakers.
I suspect that if the Celtics replaced Jimmy Butler and J.J. Redick with Al Horford and Josh Richardson, most Celtics fans on here would claim that the sky is falling.
Every year is the same thing. Most superteams formed like this fail. Horford is a good role player, but I really think he is prime for skill recession in a smaller role. As he uses his post skills less, he will become less capable there. He won't get rebounds. He's most effective when he's running the high pick-and-roll game with the ball in his hands a lot, but that game only works effectively with a threat from the outside -- not Ben Simmons. Otherwise both defenders stay back and switch. I just don't think his shooting will be a threat in the pick-and-roll. He'll be a glorified Jared Dudley.
I like Josh Richardson a lot as a great defender, but the Heat really tried to run a lot of offense through Richardson, and he enjoyed that a little too much. I'm not sure how he will do as the 5th option on the team.
I like Harris too. He's a good fit, but he's no all-star. Jayson Tatum should pass his production this season, and was pretty similar last year.
I'm just still unimpressed. Landing a player like Bradley Beal would have scared me more. And they are still relying on a player that I don't think can stay healthy.
