O'Quinn and James Ennis and Horford? Wow, the 76ers might just win it all next season if Leonard doesn't go to the Lakers.
Also Josh Richardson..
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Also Josh Richardson..
Currently the shortest player they have signed is Zhaire Smith at 6'4".

Ben Simmons, Josh Richardson, Tobias Harris, Al Horford, Joel Embiid.

Bench (so far): Mike Scott, James Ennis, Kyle O'Quinn, Jonah Bolden, Zhaire Smith, Matisse Thybulle, Shake Milton.

I suspect that if the Celtics replaced Jimmy Butler and J.J. Redick with Al Horford and Josh Richardson, most Celtics fans on here would claim that the sky is falling.

The Sixers are building a huge, talented roster.

Main issue right now is the most dangerous half-court ball-handler they have under contract is probably Josh Richardson.

Not sure that's good enough in a tight playoff series.

Winning playoff games in today's league requires elite play at the point of attack combined with multiple shooters to punish a defense.  The Sixers are not really built to win that way, even though they've got lots of size and firepower.

Every year is the same thing. Most superteams formed like this fail. Horford is a good role player, but I really think he is prime for skill recession in a smaller role. As he uses his post skills less, he will become less capable there. He won't get rebounds. He's most effective when he's running the high pick-and-roll game with the ball in his hands a lot, but that game only works effectively with a threat from the outside -- not Ben Simmons. Otherwise both defenders stay back and switch. I just don't think his shooting will be a threat in the pick-and-roll. He'll be a glorified Jared Dudley.

I like Josh Richardson a lot as a great defender, but the Heat really tried to run a lot of offense through Richardson, and he enjoyed that a little too much. I'm not sure how he will do as the 5th option on the team.

I like Harris too. He's a good fit, but he's no all-star. Jayson Tatum should pass his production this season, and was pretty similar last year.

I'm just still unimpressed. Landing a player like Bradley Beal would have scared me more. And they are still relying on a player that I don't think can stay healthy.

Sixers look like a great team on paper and defensively, they're going to be monstrous but it doesn't look like there's anything resembling perimeter shooting there unless you want Horford and Embiid dropping out of the paint.

Ugh, I wanted us to sign him.  :(

High-character vet off the bench for them.

Thought for sure he'd be coming to the C's, he seemed to be angling for a spot here too before free agency.  And with the C's chemistry issues last year, losing several vets this year, even Kyrie's comments about needing a 15 year vet, as well others saying how Brad needed a former player on his staff.  All signs looked like a go for Dudley to come here.

It sounds like he was willing. No idea if we were.

Lol this is all jealousy, you can't convince me the same people downplaying Philly's team wouldn't be the same ones declaring it a champ if it was our team. They stacked that team. I hope it fails miserably but on paper that is a really good team.

I'm not even counting us out and we have average bigs, young guys and Hayward trying to get their groove back!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Probably didn't want CBS to play him over the young guys, Dudley may not be good anymore but he's a steady vet who goes out and tries the right way. CBS would love him. Egos already get easily bruised here. Let the kids play and play through when things may not go well.

I agree Roy. Butler really played a critical role for them and they also have nobody like reddick at all. If only they had kept shamet
