I’m confused why al would not want to come back

Burnt bridges or hurt feelings? Could be either one, although he doesn't strike me as a big ego guy.

Which is weird considering he said he'd work a long term deal with Boston and wanted to stay.

Could be something DA is putting out so he can do an other deal to keep the 10mil he just opened up with the Rozier trade.

Guessing it could be the next deal. If Horford is getting 4/100M+ offers elsewhere, would we want to match? Maybe they don't want to go past 3 years to keep him.

There is a scenario where despite our excitement this offseason turns out to be disastrous. Horford at 4 years could be two years if dead money uf things break wrong. And a 29-32 year old small PG could also be bad

For those of you without a tv provider, but wanting to watch a program on FA, I recommend going to the CBS Sports app. They have live sports 24/7 (kind-of what ESPNEWS used to be) and have a big FA special on right now. I get it, it's not perfect as they don't have the big name personalities like Woj, but it's nice being able to watch something rather than just reading it all.

Also, almost $20M/yr for Rozier?! OMG!

That's the dude on twitter who made a play-by-play of a totally fictional Griffin trade where the only explanation for the frequency and detail of the information he was putting out was having Ainge's, Doc's and Steve Balmer's phones and offices bugged.

He just speculates on what might happen with the public information available (his speculations normally being very optimistic for Boston) and then adds "Sources:" at the start of the tweet.


Him tweeting "confidence is growing" Boston would be able to sign Horford after someone broke Rozier was being S&Ted to Charlotte, only to backpedal to "Boston is just doing this to have the chance of making an offer" a few minutes later because of Bullpet's tweet is a classic.

Man... If Sean Marks is able to pull of the sign & trade and get a 1st rounder back with Kyrie, then he may be Executive of the Year. He essentially recoups two of the first round picks Billy King gave away.

It's an absolute farce how all these deals are getting done before free agency period legally begins. 

This league is run by the players and their agents. Not sure if that's good or bad. Just a fact.
