Don't know if posted, but Middleton back with MIL on a max-deal (as expected).

Does anybody else think it's a lot of Money for Middleton?
He did not play consistently well in the Toronto series. I don't think he is a true number 2 on a championship team

but at this point, i think Al cares about that ring, Sac and NOLA doesn't offer that, or even close. Not to mention how reliable are Bulprett's "sources"

Very reliable. He is pretty much the only local Boston writer with legit sources (with Himmelsbach maybe working his way to that status)

Per Bobby Marks,

Milwaukee is now projected to have $118M in salary once the signing of All-Star Khris Middleton is finalized. The team is now $14M (including the $3M Malcolm Brogdon cap hold) below the $132.6M tax threshold. Brogdon is a restricted free agent and one of the top guards in free agency. Milwaukee will now have 11 players under contract.

If someone gives Brogdon a big offer, the Bucks are going to have a hard time matching but they've got to keep Giannis happy.

Bulpett himself is usually pretty good. But yeah; he is getting this information from a source close to Horford. This isn't coming from the Celtics organization or league execs, so, as jpotter said, this could absolutely be a negotiating tactic to gain leverage. Who knows. We'll see.

But that doesn't really make sense. He's been consistent that he wants to come back here if the money is right. Unless there's either (a) a significant difference in salary - which is doubtful now with Kemba onboard - or, (b) a chance to go to a place like LAC with Kawhi for a better chance at a title, then I don't see him leaving. It just doesn't make sense with what is known about his priorities.
