Looks like there's going to be a competition which is both good and bad. Good because a lot of guys are going to have something to prove and a chance to play if they're good enough. Bad because you get this with crappy teams. Fortunately the first 6 in the rotation are locked in.

I would think that Theis would wind up being a part of this.  He'd probably the early leader to get rotation minutes because he can at least defend.

Can he shoot? Pass? All it shows is him slamming the ball..big whoop, all big can slam in NBA

check out this link again

shot 80 plus at the FT line and also had several assists

no 3s though

Like, Kanter, has very high offensive rebound rate. Given our team ranking last season of 23/30, this could be a point of emphasis next season.

It's going to be interesting to see our approach to offensive rebounding this year. Kanter is among the best in the league and Poirier, Theis, Williams & Williams all have some ability in that regard.

I have a feeling we're going to see some Brad Stevens lineup experiments down low. Robert Williams and Daniel Theis together, where RWill defends the PF and Theis plays the stretch offensively? Kanter and a wing? Etc

His biggest problem right now for sure is pick-n-roll defense and his lateral quickness. He is not able to chase his man down on the low block if he gets passed by him.

Sounds like he has a lot in common with the guy the Celts signed yesterday.

I like his game. Will be interesting to see if he can translate at all to the NBA. I think some euros are just stunned by the difference in caliber of athlete when they come over.

Great timing on pick and roll-anybody know his wingspan!!!
I was hoping this would happen, he seems to have a good motor.

Clearly unaware of the needs of the team.   We have Kemba, Edwards, Tremont and Smart to  play PG.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Blah..i want a proven NBA player..went to 2 summer leagues and didnt make it...Noah Vonleh or Cousins been better

Pre-meniscus tear Theis was a really solid find for this team...still is.  There is a ton of "proven" talent overseas.

Just look at who won the NBA awards this year.
